He was a great preacher of the 5th century. A matter of fact, his nickname, Crisologo, means “golden word”. His Homilies were very short but very beautiful. But he preached with enthusiasm and fire and the people who listened to him enjoyed it. He worked hard for the unity of the Church. He died in the year 450.
