Dominic was a hermit in a small town near the causeway of Camino de Santiago. He served pilgrims who traveled past his Hermitage with love. He is known for his miracles, one that stands out is of the young German who was traveling to Compostela, of whom the daughter of an innkeeper fell in love with and tried to hold him captive by accusing him of stealing a silver cup. When he was condemned to death, Saint Dominic saved his life.
