He was the king from Denmark, in the 11th century. Canute was a great athlete and a very good general. He introduced the Christian faith to his people and offered his crown to Christ the King. Canute was very charitable and friendly with people and served his people with love. But some of the kingdom was not in favor with his position to help the Church, they entered the temple when Canute was praying and murdered him. Canute had enough time before dying to forgive them and pray for them.
