YOUTHFEST will be held at the Archdiocesan Retreat Center in Kearny on Sunday March 27th from 10am til 6pm.

This years theme is "The Ripple Effect" and will look at how like a pebble in water,  our actions, our influence, and our faith ripples out to have an impact on ourselves and the people around us.
 

What is Youthfest?  Youthfest is a day long event where high school teens from all over the archdiocese come together for a day of faith, fun and fellowship.  The day features TWO  wonderful keynote speakers, Chris Padgett and Brad and Gene from Apex Ministries.  The day will have workshops, food, and other various activities through out the day.  It is a great time for all who come.

Where is Youthfest?  Youthfest will be held at the Archdiocesan Youth Retreat Center.  The AYRC is centrally located in our Archdiocese in Kearny.  We will start our day in the Boystown Gymnasium building and then will be branching out to the other buildings that make up the Retreat Center.

How much does it cost and what is included in the cost? The cost for the day is $25.00 a person.  This is the same for Adults and Teens.  The cost covers all aspects of the day and includes lunch here at the Center.

What should I wear? Clothes!  For sure modest clothes.  Wear something comfortable
Although we are going to celebrate Mass, you don’t need to wear your Sunday best.  Just be comfortable.  You might want to consider bringing a coat or sweatshirt as it may be cold.

When do we eat? Lunch will be scheduled at one point during the day.  Please make sure you eat a good breakfast before arriving.  We don’t want hungry teens.  That leads to distracted minds.

Should I bring more money?  You can if you want to.  Chris and Apex will have some merchandise for sale.  There are soda machines if you are into that, and there may be a few other vendors as well.   So you can bring some extra cash.. A little bit of money is fine.
