It is one of the most central feast days of our faith, although sometimes it is focused on parties, foods, and gifts that perhaps we fail to take in the significance of the day. There are those who do not like this feast because of the noise that surrounds it, but in reality what is being celebrated is a great mystery that should fill us with joy even if we did not have food, gifts or songs.
