November 28 – Saint Catherine Labouré
From a very young age, Catherine worked hard to help her family who was poor. Her mother was deceased. She did not attend school and therefore could not read or write, but her greatest wish was to become a religious. When her family obligations finally allowed it, she entered the convent when she was 24 years old. Her patience and sacrifice was compensated with a beautiful vision of the Miraculous Mary.
Do you anticipate advancement opportunities and become impatient when things don’t happen as you expect? Are you patient and perseverant?
