Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

The Pope has called an Extraordinary Synod to discuss the “Pastoral Challenges of the Family in the Context of Evangelization.” The questions sent to the Bishops for consultation before Synods have always been sent here to the various Archdiocesan Councils that regularly advise me before the Archdiocese sends its responses back to the Holy See.

For this Synod, a more ample consultation will be helpful; and every Catholic in the Archdiocese is therefore invited to reply to the questionnaire now available in English and Spanish on the Archdiocesan website. The explanation and the questions are somewhat lengthy, and there is no obligation to complete the entire questionnaire in order to participate. Thanks to all who help the Church reflect on the challenges to family life in our time. God bless you.
