November 27 - Saint James Intercisus

He was a Persian that lived in the 5th Century. He worked in the king’s court and when the king began to persecute Christians, Intercisus did not have the courage to confess his faith. When the king died, his mother and his wife wrote him a letter encouraging him to confess his faith. The new king summoned him and this time Intercisus confessed his faith. The king condemned him to torture and death, but Intercisus remained firm in his faith.

Have you ever feared to confess your faith and your convictions?
