Her story sounds like a fairytale. She was a English princess who escaped with her mother to Scotland when her land had been conquered. The king of Scotland fell in love with Margaret; they married and were very happy. Malcom was a hardened man but began to soften up with the Margaret’s gentleness.  They prayed together and took care of their people, of the poor and the education for all of them. They tried to live imitating Christ in everything possible. They had six sons and two daughters. The youngest was Saint David.
