October 27 - Blessed Contardo Ferrini, O.F.S.
His father, an Italian teacher of the 19th century, instilled in him from a young age the love of studies. From a young age, Contardo spoke many languages and stood out because of his implementation and intelligence. When he was 21 years old he was offered the opportunity to study in Berlin, Germany. In the university he continued his apostolic work with his companions. Contardo began to discern his vocation and came to understand that God called him to a complete dedication to Him, but as a layperson. He continued writing and teaching. The people who made contact him saw something different and attractive in him. He died when he was only 43 years old.
