Peter thinks he, too, can walk on the water, and he jumps…but then he is afraid. It seems like a logical reaction, but poor Peter is scolded by Jesus. Why have you doubted?

When things become difficult for you and you know perfectly well that you cannot “walk on the water”, do you doubt that Jesus will be right beside you?

Jesus, I trust in you, because I believe in your love for me.
