Somewhat impulsive, like Peter, Thomas, one of the apostles, wanted to go to Jerusalem to die with Jesus, but as soon as they seized Jesus, Thomas went out running like the rest. His doubt regarding the Resurrection became famous and later his firm faith led Thomas to preach the gospel in India, where he died a martyr.
