May 1 - Saint Joseph the worker
St. Joseph the Worker. This is the second feast dedicated to Saint Joseph, the husband of Mary and adoptive father of Jesus. In this opportunity we reflect on his being a worker. Little is known about Joseph, other than he was a worker. Today we reflect on the value of work and daily effort, which often goes unnoticed but which gives us dignity as sharers in God’s creation.
Do you see your study or work and your daily activities as burdens or as graces and blessings, particularly in the difficult times we are going through? What is your experience of work?
