Don was born in the 18th century, and from a young age was inclined to the things of the Church, being an altar server. He read saint stories which inspired him to follow the path of the Capuchin monks. When he was of age, he entered the monastery. After his formation, he was ordained a priest. He was famous for his clear and simple preaching, which attracted many people.
