Since his childhood he wanted to be a priest, but his family could not pay his education. He became an assistant to a baker, but continued studying at night, after work. He then became a servant in a monastery and made three pilgrimages to Rome. In the last one, he entered the Redemptorist novitiate in Saint Giuliano. In Warsaw he founded an orphanage and a school for street children.

Do you think your studies are so important that you are able to continue on even when you face great difficulties and you are tempted to give up?
