Saint Paul called him a brother and a true son of their common faith. He was sent by Paul to the community of Corinth to restore the harmony between the brothers. He later went to organize the community of Crete, and afterward accompanied Paul on various journeys. In the Bible we find the letter from Paul to Titus, in which he gives him the norms to organize the community, to fight against false teachers, and encourage Christian life among the faithful.
